Blessed to be able to get on the ice tonight and play the game those boys loved. I, along with many in the hockey community, am meaving one of my sticks outside just in case they need to play some pond hockey wherever they are. Scored a goal tonight somehow and after the initial shock of actually scoring a goal thought about those kids just 2-5 years younger than I. Life is too short.

just rolled in. we were closer to Mexico than to the closest hockey rink. When we got back and heard about it on the CBC I thought it was the Historical Swift Current Broncos tragedy they were talking about, as That human shitstain we don’t dignify was also mentioned.
